However, using too much salve can be harmful, so always follow the artist's instructions.

3. DO NOT SCRATCH: 

A thin crust may form in the area of the tattoo in the first days and weeks, which is a natural part of the healing process. Do not scratch or try to remove the epidermis from the tattoo, as this can cause damage and worsen the final result.

4. SUN PROTECTION:
